Dear track operators,

What an exciting day it was as Tim Lucas, Kevin Pollard and Justin Poindexter were crown the 2013 Summit SuperSeries World Champions.  If you would like to post the press release on your web site, the link is http://www.ihra.com/superseries-news/item/1153-lucas,-pollard,-poindexter-win-summit-superseries-titles.

This year’s prize package for the Top class included a Maddox Race Cars turnkey dragster with a Trick Flow Big Block Ford Engine, Abruzzi transmission and  an incredible paint scheme by Imagine That Customs. The winner also took home a World Champion Ironman, ring and Gold and Silver cards, a week long Aruba vacation and $10,000. The Modified class winner took home a Gemini two post car lift, $2500 certificate for heads from Trick Flow, a Pit Bike compliments of Howell Printing, a World Champion Ironman, ring and Gold and Silver cards, a week long Aruba vacation and $10,000. The Junior Champion won a fantastic turnkey Vic Puglia race car, 4 pack tickets to any Feld Entertainment, 4 pack tickets to Cedar Point, a Kalahari Resorts (Sandusky, OH) vacation for 4 for 3 nights and a World Champion Ironman, ring and Gold and Silver cards and $3,000. The two dragsters presented this year are among the best we have ever had.

We are busy working out the details for 2014 and it already looks to be a very good year for the SSS. Please remember that this program is for YOUR racers and track participation and promotion is key. We all want this program to grow and for Summit Racing to stay as the sponsor. They are always looking at the tracks web pages and looking to see how many racers you have in the program. If you need help in promoting the program at your track, please let your division director or myself know. Depending on our travel schedules, we will try to be available for your banquets and racer’s meetings.

 Regards,

 Sherrie
